These are my original costume design ideas I had for the seven deadly sins.

casting my face

I used alginate to cast my face with mod rock on top of the dried alginate to create a strong structured cast.

Making a mold

I then used plaster of Paris to create two moulds of my face.

Origanily I was going to uses these moulds of my face to create silicone masks of a replica of my face and then have 7 models wear a mask and a costume that was designed for each seven sins. to show the kind of idea that we all sin and each deadly sin lives within us, and this would be shown as each model would have an identical face but I decided I didn't really like this direction so changed it.

I decided instead to get 7 black foam board which I cut a oval in so I could put my head through. I then wrote each speech that that deadly sin said in dr Faustus around the hole for the head in a spiral direction and filled the rest of the board with quotes names and imagery to do with each sin.
